I guess we all can find ways to justify almost any belief. And isn't it funny how oftentimes atheists uphold "Christian" values better than many of religious right fundies in this country? My gay roommate in college used to wear a shirt that basically sums it all up for me. It said "Jesus, please save me from your followers."
